Palisade Fencing for Commercial and Industrial Sites

Aaron Fencing Ltd supplies and installs commercial palisade fencing for businesses, schools, local authorities and industrial sites across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire. Palisade fencing is one of the most effective perimeter security solutions available, combining physical strength with a clear visual deterrent.

Whether you need a new perimeter, a damaged section replacing or a full site secured, our team delivers to commercial standards with minimal disruption.

Why Choose Palisade Fencing

Palisade fencing is the standard choice for sites where security cannot be compromised. The vertical steel pales are difficult to climb, resistant to impact, and built to last decades with minimal maintenance. It is widely specified by schools, councils, utilities and industrial operators for its combination of strength, visibility and value. Aaron Fencing installs palisade to BS 1722 Part 12 standard across our full
service corridor.

What We Install

We install mild steel and galvanised palisade fencing in W, D and F pale profiles, in heights from 1.2m to 3.0m. All posts are set in concrete with approved fixings. We work on new installations, section replacements, gate integration and full perimeter projects. Supply-only is also available for clients with their own installation teams.

Areas We Cover

Our palisade fencing teams operate across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire and Cambridgeshire. We regularly work in Luton, Dunstable, Northampton, Hemel Hempstead, Letchworth, Milton Keynes, Bedford and the wider A1/M1 corridor.

Frequently Asked Questions

Palisade fencing is used to secure the perimeters of commercial and industrial sites, schools, utilities, car parks and public sector buildings.
The vertical steel pales create a strong physical barrier that is difficult to climb and provides a clear visual deterrent. It is one of the most widely specified security fencing types in the UK for sites where access control and perimeter integrity are critical requirements.

A correctly installed galvanised steel palisade fence will typically last 25 to 40 years with minimal maintenance. The lifespan depends on the quality of the steel, the galvanising specification, the post-setting method and the local environment. Sites near coastal or industrial areas with higher levels of airborne salt or chemicals may require more frequent inspections. Aaron Fencing installs to BS 1722 Part 12, which sets out the standards for materials, fixings and post-setting to achieve maximum service life.

The correct height depends on the security risk level of your site and any planning or regulatory requirements. Standard commercial palisade fencing is typically installed at 1.8m or 2.0m. Sites with higher security requirements – such as utilities, data centres or sites handling controlled materials – commonly use 2.4m or 3.0m fencing, sometimes with additional anti-climb topping. For school sites, we always check local planning conditions and DfE guidance before recommending a specification. We are happy to advise on the right height for your site during a free site visit.

Yes. Aaron Fencing designs and installs matching palisade gates as part of the same project or as a separate installation. We supply single and double leaf swing gates, sliding gates and automated gate systems. Gates are fabricated to match the pale profile, height and finish of
the surrounding fencing. If you require access control, intercom or barrier integration, we can advise on compatible systems and work alongside your access control provider.
